Zado left home (26.10.2012)
But not without adventures. Zado staid at the MatVet clinic until his departure. Irina, that brought him to the transport lives near by. And it was lucky for her, because when she wanted to pick up the dog, she realized she had left the stove open. Nadine - a lucky cat in the end (01.12.2012)
Our friend from MatVet told us that this cat was brought by a person that pretends to be a public figure in our country, saying that she found the cat on the street, probably hit by a car. She left the cat in the clinic and after a consultation, when the vet called to say it needs an X-ray and probably surgery as she has a broken jaw, the lady was intrigued and asked why should she pay for EVERYBODY'S CAT!!!! Also she had the nerve to ask the vet what has he learned in school.....has he heard of compassion by any chance?????
In the end the cat left for Germany and now she is spoiled. Obviously after being treated and spayed.

 Vaya - a 3 pawed female dog (28.11.2012)
Vaya is a female dog, very mild and sweet that belongs to one of our vet's client. He would like to give her for adoption as he already has 5-6 dogs at his mother's yard and the other dogs don't really accept her. She has small chances of getting adopted here in Romania so if anyone would like to adopt her, please contact us. She is spayed.

Uhi and Nagu - 23.11.2012
The two pups were found by Betty in the park. They were abandoned in the pen for dogs with owners. Luckily Nagu has been soon adopted, all the way to Bacau, but Uhi's faith remained unknown to us as she soon disappeared. We do not have a shelter, so we cannot take dogs from the streets unless we can find a sponsor willing to pay it's fee at the private one we work with. This is why we are doing our best to neuter as many females as possible, so we will not find pups on the street anymore.

Ari went home - 20.11.2012
On this beautiful day Ari (now Ariel) left to her family. We are glad she was able to be taken out of a field and into a home.

The 3 from the construction site - 19.11.2012
Beside Ravi, on the construction site there were 3 more dogs, one female and 2 males. They were all lucky enough to have sponsors that paid their fee in the private shelter and now only Jafy, the oldie is still waiting for a home, the other 2 have been adopted.

Tagi - 14.11.2012
Tagi was "taken" by our friend Vlad after she was abandoned in front of the clinic where he works. She was lucky enough to be adopted soon, especially since she is small size. Lucky doggie!

Fafy, Gahy and Hady - 06.11.2013
Fafy is a male pup and Gahy and Hady 2 male kittens, all found by Fabi. They were all kept in foster by the same person, with a reduced financial situation and were lucky to be finally adopted. We want more lucky animals.

Kady the kitten - 08.11.2012
The kitten was found in Comana by our friends Andreea and Vlad, thrown over the fence. He got along veery well with the dogs in the yard and shortly he was brought to Bucharest where we found him a home.

Ravi and her 11 pups - 06.11.2012
Fabi found Ravi super pregnant on a construction site. Not being able to neuter her, we took her in our custody and 2 days later she gave birth to 11 pups. How did they fit in such a small body it is a mistery :). After a potential adoption in Germany that didn't take place in the end, all the pups + mum have been adopted in Romania, except for one red girl that was lucky enough to leave to the Netherlands. 12 solved cases! :)

A little bad luck - 08.11.2012
Bawi was supposed to leave to UK in the same transport as Tutza, but in the rush we didn't realise she has a cough. The girls from the transport took her temperature and she had 39 degrees, and so did Jackie, the dog that came from Bistrita, rescued by Diana from the public shelter there. Diana decided to bring her to Bucharest and to be in our vets' care as she was suspected to have distemper. So we embarked Tutza in the van and took Bawi and Jackie to the MatVet clinic, where Cristi hospitalized Bawi, but was afraid to bring potential distemper in the hospital. So Jackie was quarantined in the shelter where Vlad took care of her treatment and the good news soon appeared, they were both only with a cold :) So good to know nothing is too serious!

Bocelli - the blind kitten (05.11.2012)
Found by Fabi and Betty with a severe rhinotracheitis, unfortunately, with all the treatment received, Bocelli remained blind. That didn't stop him from adapting soon to his condition and jumping from one table to another. And he was lucky enough to be adopted in Germany :)

9 in one shot (02.11.2012)
Dogs have been adopted there is :). 9 dogs from the streets of Romania have been lucky enough to leave to a better life. That is Nala and her 5 pups (Acy, Uha, Taga, Seea and Rata), Ila, Kala and Lala. Their transport to the location from where they were suppose to leave have been an adventure, but in the end all was for the best.

Tora - another super fast adoption (31.10.2012)
Mrs. Dorina called us to say that a neighbor of hers took inside a stray female dog, neutered her and after keeping her for 2 weeks, she couldn't keep her anymore. Obviously we promoted her and Mrs. Dorina gave her for adoption the next day. We hope Tora is safe and loved. I really don't understand why people don't ask for help in time and always when they can't do anything anymore. We can help, sure, but in time!

Zado left for Germany (26.10.2012)
I, Irina, left to Cristi to take Zado to the transport. But, with the head in the clouds as usual, I remembered I have forgotten the stove on. Good thing I live close by. But enough about me, when I returned I rushed with the pup in the backpack to the subway, to catch it as fast as I can so I can be on time at HAR. Just my luck that other people were late, so the car where Zado was supposed to be in wasn't full yet. So he sniffed a little in the yard, met other pups and finally he was boarded to go to Claudia, where a wonderful life awaits him. Good luck sweety!

Lala and Maja (18.10.2012)
Two kittens abandoned at the clinic where Vlad, one of our collaborator, works. Of course we helped promoting them and soon they both found homes. At least if the people that abandon the pups would abandon also the mums, we would neuter them and the problem would be solved.

Ila and Kala (17.10.2012)
Saved from Brasov also by Diana, the 2 small size girls have been brought to the private shelter in Bucharest. Being sweet they left for Germany in foster and were adopted in the end. Good luck!

Puppies from Codlea (16.10.2012)
Faja, Gani, Cafy, Hana and Brownie are the 5 pups saved from a field that came all the way from Codlea to Bucharest. They were all lucky enough to be adopted, thanks to Diana Hochkogler, one of our main volunteers :). They turned out to be crazy, mild and....big size :)

Neuterings in Brezoaie (august 2012)
Mrs. Serpescu asked for help for some dogs that lived with a family that has psychical deficiencies. We managed to neuter one male and one female, but unfortunately nothing more. We hope we will be able to neuter all the animals there.

Neuterings in Berceni (11.10.2012)
Mrs. Laila, that we helped with the adoption of some dogs drew the attention about this case, 4 young female dogs abandoned in a fiels. We asked online for financial support and we got more than that: out of the 4 dogs, 3 of them got sponsors so they could go in the shelter, one of them unfortunately disappeared after neutering and we hope someone adopted her. A completely solved case!

Lizuca (08.10.2012)
Lizuca is a kitten found in Comana by Vlad, our friend and collaborator. Small and sweet, thrown over a fence, she was lucky enoughto get adopted and have a better life.

Old guy Bafo (06.10.2012)
Bafo is a teckel mixed breed abandoned in our dogs' pen with an ugly scar around his neck. He either wad a wire toed around it or a too tight collar or chain. He din not trust people in the beginning and he tried to bite if anyone wanted to do something to him, but soon he realized that nobody will hurt him, he got neutered, vaccinated and became friends with everybody, especially Edu. He was also lucky enough to finally leave in foster in Germany and we are very happy that he will have a wonderful life from now on.

Ela - the one eye cat (04.10.012)
Ela is Cristi's patient, one of our collaborators and friends. The furry girl was looking for a home for quite a while now, but since her chances in Romania were slim, we thought about taking her chance outside. Where she was adopted pretty fast, due to her mild character.

Samy and Timy (02.10.2012)
Two pups found by a lady that sells newspapers, this is who they are. They lived for one month in the booth and the lady couldn't keep them there anymore so she mad a nice place for them outside. Unfortunately Samy disappeared and we really hope he was adopted. But Timy for fortunate enough to find a sponsor and now he is waiting in the private shelter to be adopted.

Chioruta and Wafy left to a better future (01.10.2012)
We are very glad that these two souls left behind them a life full of uncertainties. Also we are happy to inform that they have both been adopted.

Another kitten (20.09.2012)
This year we had a loooooot of kittens. Rafy was one of them. Small and cute, obviously he found a home. We wish him all the luck!

Wafy - the blind cat (15.09.2012)
Cristi, our friend and collaborator from MatVet found this almost blind cat and took him in his care. An adult cat, very sweet and friendly. As in Romania he had slim chances to get adopted, he was taken in foster by Claudia, Zado's owner and was given for adoption. Now he is a spoiled and loved cat.

Xabo and Zado (13.09.2013)
It is not a nice sensation to come back from your holiday and find 2 pups in front of your building. Especially when one has a back leg problem. Zado, the husky mixed breed, needed a femoral head resection to get rid of the pain, but his leg remained inflexible. Still, due to his handicap, he had the chance to be adopted by Claudia, that became thus our collaborator. Now he is enjoying a wonderful life near Munich. Xabo has been moved to the private shelter and hopefully he will soon leave to his home.

Buburuza (12.09.20132)
Buburuza is a small kitten found by Fabi in front of her building and fostered....at her place :). Being small, playful and sweet she found a family really fast. Be happy!

Obaz left for a better life (11.09.2012)
Obaz is a doggie saved by the people that have the private shelter were we keep some dogs. Since they don't have enough time to promote them, Diana, one of our volunteers, promoted the doggie and this is how he left to....Denmark. And heis more than spoiled. :)

Pefa - the dog with demodex (07.09.2012)
Pefa was a 4 months old girl that lived on the street and was chased away because she had mange :(. Betty wanted to treat her, but we thought we were not very effective on the street so we made her case public and not only we found sponsors that would pay her accommodation fee in the private shelter, but also a foster for her once she was treated. So Pefa arrived to the Ferbinteanu family and proved to be a crazy girl.

Vafu - Betty's dog :) (05.09.2012)
Betty found this poor dog on the steps of a funeral services company...the owner hit him with a broom :(. Of course she couldn't walk away, so he brought the pup into our pen. She has a superficial wound at one paw and it was a little scared of our pack, but soon...he became the craziest dog. He has an innocent face even when we was doing something wrong :). And he was lucky enough to be adopted in Germany ;)

Rasi was lucky to leave (16.08.2012)
Rasi, the girl in Florentina's care has been lucky enough to be adopted in Germany. We are grateful to Sandra that offered her a chance for a better life.

White - a found doggie (28.07.2012)
White was found by Georgia, one of our volunteers, in a forest in Strehaia. She couldn't leave her there, especially since she had a bad wound at her paw. So she brought her to Bucharest, to MatVet clinic, where she has been healed and neutered. She also had a haircut and after a period of time when she proved to be crazy, the vet found a family for her. So now she is sharing her yard with an older brother that she bugs most of the times :)

Balanel and Mica are saying goodbye (27.07.2013)

The small ones that were both almost thrown on a field were lucky enough to be adopted. Before they left, they thought about playing a little, to show us how sweet they are, although we already knew that :). We wish them a happy life with their new families.

The orange mum with 3 kittens (14.07.2012)

Brought to MatVet clinic hoping they would all find homes. One kitten died suddenly, with no other medical explanation other than congenital malformation, the others, including the mum, have found a home. This is another reason to neuter the animals without the right to breed, as you cannot know the medical history of the parents and what illnesses they can transmit to the pups.

Pica and her brothers (12.07.2012)
The kittens were brought to Fabi and Betty by the lady that neutered their mum. Some of them found homes, but 2 has to be taken back in the street and became to savage :(. This is the result of people abandoning the animals that grow up and breed. We hope people will become more responsible soon.

Udy - a black pup (11.07.2012)
Udy was, like a lot of other pups, abandoned in our dogs pen. Being chubby, funny, happy and sweet, he was lucky enough to find a family and a yard only for him.

4 pups (09.07.2012)

Igi, Kala 1 and 2 (they looked alike) and Tacu have been abandoned by someone under a bush, without a drop of water. When we took them in the dogs' pen we were amazed by how much water they drank. Beside that, they were healthy and chubby. Kala 1 and 2 were the first ones to get adopted, although we never thought so as Igi is a small size dog :). Tacu was the next to leave in a few months and Igi is still looking for a home. Let's hope she will find one soon.

Safy and Hana (05.07.2012)
Through a person that Fabi knows - for which we neutered a lot of cats - we met Safy and Hana that needed masters. Fortunately Safy has been adopted, Hana is still looking for her home.

Balanel - the most beautiful dog (29.06.2012)
Without realising we met this gorgeous dog that had a master that would hit him. I cannot believe that after what he has  been through he remained a very sweet and loving dog. We took him out of the yard where he was staying and into the shelter and soon he went to his family.

Lida - the dog from Lidl (19.06.2012)
Mrs. Dorina, who called us about different cases before, told us that there is a big dog with a nasty open wound. Together with Georgia Ninu, one of our volunteers, we managed to sedate her a little with Sedalin gel and took her to Bozo Vet. It took 2 hours to clean and sew her wounds, and now Lida is in a private shelter, where we have other dogs. Lida needs a sponsor or someone who can chip in for her accommodation fee. Any help, as little as it may be, will be appreciated. You can use our pay pal account: asociatia.prieteni.buni@gmail.com. Thank you!
Facebook album.

Lucky Mica (17.06.2012)
Mica is a female girl found by Alex, a girl that told us about a lot of cases in time. Mica gave birth to 4 pups and the Alexandra's neighbors wanted to send her to a field. We found a sponsor for her and so Mica came into our care into the private shelter. Shortly she was neutered and given for adoption in Austria. :)

Kittens again (24.05.2012)
This year we had a lot of kittens. Fabi and Betty took care of them all and now they all have homes. We wish them all a happy life!

Mafa - the kitten from MatVet (23.05.2012)
Our good friend from MatVet asked us to help him give a kitten for adoption. Of course we stepped in and so Mafa has found a great family.

Good news about Jafa (09.05.2012)
Jafa is one of Cristina's pups, from Ramnicu Valcea. We said their story earlier. Jafa was lucky enough to be wanted by Jodie from the UK. Before her departure she stayed at the private shelter owned by the Ferbinteanu family, where she made a good friend, Zuza. She had to stay there for a month because she was a little sick, but everything turned out for the best eventually.

Toby got sick (09.05.2012)
Toby is a very scared pup in Ramona G.'s care. She tried to give him up for adoption, but the people brought himback because he was too frightened. Was brought to Bozo Vet with the diagnosis canine parvovirus. Being so scared, we didn't reach when manipulated. He recovered fast, after 2-4 days and he became frightened of people again. He got well and unfortunately we had no choice, but to bring him back to Ramona. We are sorry we couldn't do more for him. Without funds and a proper shelter, that was the best choice. He has no chances for adoption, being so scared.

Hahi - another sweet puppy (07.05.2012)
Hahi was found on the street and was taken care of in a newspaper's stand. :). Fabi became her protector, de-wromed her, vaccinated her and in short time, she has found a master.

Other dogs of Cristina (09.05.2012)

Rady and Toto are two other dogs from Cristina's acquaintance in Ramnicu Valcea. Although Rady is a little scared, he was liked by a lady in Germany and is now at Giurgiu in a program to socialize. Let's hope he will arrive to his home soon. Meanwhile Toto is still waiting for a master.

The kittens from MatVet (04.05.2012)
With each collaboration we discover other people involved in saving strays. It is the case of MatVet clinic where we found 5 kittens. The small ones were lucky enough to get adopted fast, even the calico kittens that usually do not have that much luck. Let's hope for more good news!

Zaraza and her little brother (03.05.2012)
Zaraza and her brother are two black kittens found by our firends from Bozo Vet. Cute as you can see, they both got adopted and have responsible parents. We wish them a life without worries.

4 pups from Ramnicu-Valcea (02.05.2012)
We met Cristina when we sent Rasi and Sandy to Westermann Michaela in Germany. She is a real animal lover and would do anything to improve the life of thepour souls abandoned in her city. This is how she found the 4 female pups from below. Unfortunately one died, the brown one has been adopted and the other two are now in Govora and we will try our best to find homes for them. Please give them a chance. Thank you!

The French (27.04.2012)
The French is a small kitten found by....Fabi :)))). All we can say about her is that she was adopted fast.

Fabi's male kittens (22.04.2012)
Fabi didn't rest at all this spring. She found a lot of kittens. The last ones are 3 male kittens that were abandoned in front of the clinic. Of course Fabi took them and we got to find them owners. We wish people would understand eventually the importance of neutering their pets. It isn't a bigger shame than to abandon their pups.

Wari - the black cat (22.04.2012)
Again Fabi found the black female cat, abandoned on the street and with a skin condition. Of course that under Fabi's care she got better and was able to be put up for adoption. She was shortly put on our adopted pets list :)

Mum with pups thrown in the pen (22.04.2012)

This beautiful and small female dog was thrown in our dogs' pen when she was about to give birth. She did gave birth to 4 pups, literally under a rug. She was scared of people and dogs and she was very protective with the pups. When she realized that humans are not a threat, she allowed to be moved in a dog house with her 3 boys and one girl. Shortly one of the pups died. The mum, that we named Kaja, was very protective of her pups, didn't allow any other dog to come near her house but unfortunately, she either didn't know how to me a mum, or the pups were born with malformations, because all of her pups died. Kaja was urgently neutered the next day and after that she didn't want to stay in the pen anymore, she jumped the fence and now is living in the parking lot. She doesn't get along well with other dogs, but she is mild and playful with humans. She is in need of a home and we are really hoping to find her one.

Another kitten at Bozo Vet (22.04.2012)
Our friends and colleagues from Bozo Vet found another male kitten and asked us to help them find him a home. Given the fact that he was so beautiful, it is not a surprise he was adopted very soon. :)

Api - humanitarian case (21.04.2012)
Api - female, 1 year, sterilized, she caught distemper while taken by the authorities to be sterilized, she is cured now, but she walks a little crooked. She is incredibly mild and needs a master with a wonderful heart.
She was taken to a private shelter and Mr. Ferbinteanu and now is waiting for her master. We are grateful to Sissel Eide Klemmetsen for paying her fee until the adoption.  Album: https://picasaweb.google.com/106779245996036441015/Api

Lots of pups in Drumul Taberei (20.04.2012)
Besides the Boy, whose case was presented here, his sister, that we named Rava, also came back to give birth to 8 beautiful golden pups. But she wasn't the only mum in the area. Two other female dogs gave birth each to 5-6 cute pups, and Florentina found herself in the situation where she had to find masters for a lot of flufs. We put adds for them, but not all of them got adopted, some of them disappeared. Rasi, Vaeb, Eia and Gahu are left + the mummies Rava and Laja. Laja has already been neutered by someone in the area, Rava and mummy nr 3 will be spayed so they won't have other pups. Let's hope all will end well!

The boy from Drumul Taberei (20.04.2012)
Florentina O. is one of our adopters (she adopted Bubulina), that Andreea kept in touch with. She asked us once to help her with some pups that were abandoned where she lives. During the time that we tried to find owners, she announced us that the dogs disappeared. After a pretty long period of time, Florentina wrote to us and told us that one of them appeared, very very skinny and hurt. We tried to find him a foster, at least temporary, until he recovers a little so he can be put up for adoption. we went to take pictures, so that people can meet him and we discovered a 7-8 months pup, that although he was limping a little (we found out that he was hit by a car), was full of energy, playful, mild, friendly and very sweet. He is now in a shelter near Curtea de Arges and we hope that he will soon find his master!
Titilina, the dog from the hospital (10.04.2012) On the 10th of April, we received the following request on our mail: Good afternoon, I am writing hoping we can do something for this dog. It is a she and she is staying in the back of the hospital of infectious diseases. It is a Chihuahua mixed breed and she is very kind and lovable. Some of the employees take care of her, but the director of the hospital said she has to go from there. I know people abroad want small size dogs and she is suitable for this. Plus, she is a pup and very mild. I am thinking you have relations and she has a chance for a home. I can take her anywhere, I have a car, I will vaccinate and neuter her, I just want her to be taken from the hospital. Unfortunately I cannot keep her as I have another female dog.  As we do not have a shelter, we posted her case on Facebook and Lucica S. agreed to foster her until the adoption. Unfortunately Titilina (this is how the people from the hospital called her) got sick on the first day of Easter and she had to be hospitalized at a non-stop clinic. She was transferred next day to MatVet clinic, our friend :), and she was treated, with the suspicion: POISONING! She got well pretty soon, since she is a pup and she was adopted soon. Unfortunately we still remained with a debt at MatVet, the amount is not huge, only 56 EUR. If you can help us, with as little as possible, please write the comment "for Titilina" (pay pal: asociatia.prieteni.buni@gmail.com). Any amount, as small as possible, will be appreciated! Thank you!
Another donation from Germany (06.04.2012)  Mrs. Michaela Westermann, our volunteer in Germany, sent some things for the dogs in Jilava, taken care of by the girls from ASMA. Our dogs have donated few solid food as well to their brothers that needed it more than them. Thank you Michaela for your help, the dogs have really appreciated it!
5 black pups (03.04.2012) Five 4 weeks old pups were abandoned in our dogs' pen. They were very small, but also very cute, they looked like Bernese mountain dogs mix. Four girls and one boy with problems at both eyes. He was born this way. Unfortunately three of them disappeared, but the remaning two girls found wonderful families, one here in Bucharest, one in Harghita, the new masters came all the way to take her. We wish them  happy and careless life!
Rari and Sandi arrived in foster (01.04.2012) The pups from Ramnicu Valcea finally arrived in Germany at Michaela Westermann. They have now a safer and careless future. Sandi already found a master and Rari is still waiting for one. We are thankful to all the people that helped us send them there and to Bozo si Asociatii for helping us with the papers.
Sterilizations in Berceni (30.03.2012) When we met the dogs in Berceni, posted here, we were told that near Carrefour there was a family, mother dog and 6 pups, that need to be neutered. They are more or less tolerated there, but they risked being sent away if they would have had pups. The dogs in questions are the ones from here. With the help of Georgia N. and her husband, that drove us there, we managed to take only one female, Jaci, that turned to be a very sweet dog, sociable and mild that we are trying to find a home. The rest of them were too scared to be caught by hand. But, woth the help of Mircea, the girls there were tranquilised and neutered, the mum and two daughters. We still have a few female dogs there to settle, but we need information from our conexion person.https://picasaweb.google.com/110142868322599352756/SterilizariBerceni
Suture wires donation (23.03.2012) This day became a good one when I got contacted by Gabriela C. who asked me if we needed suture wires, given for free by the company where she works. As our main purpose is represented by neutering animals, the donation came at a proper time. We just didn't expect so many :) We are incredibly grateful for their help. Thank you for supporting our activity!
Tiger Ifi (20.03.2012) Ifi is a 1 year old cat, neutered and incredibly mild. She loves to be cuddled and spoiled. She has been accommodated at MatVet veterinary clinic and she is looking for a home. We hope you like her and you can give her a chance to have a family.
We spay during holidays as well :) - Bran (18.03.2012) As a group, we often go to a friend that has a cottage in the mountains and two stray dogs. A male and a blond, beautiful female. That weekend I thought about spaying the female, especially since I heard that the pups where always thrown away. At 8 o'clock in the morning we got the 23 kg fatty in the car, she was neutered, we received a discount, as we are an association :) and we brought her back in the afternoon. She was a little scared as she didn't understand what was happening to her, but the next day she was as good as new, she was well behaved when we gave her the antibiotics and she will be relaxed from now on. We just hope she doesn't get too fat :)
Strays in Berceni (14.03.2012) Mrs. Dorina takes care in front of her building of lots of dogs and cats. We went to Berceni to take pictures for adds. The animals are neutered, friendly and URGENTLY need masters as the neighbors do not tolerate them and promised they will poison them. You can find each on the adoption pages! Please help them not to live on the streets anymore. It is not their fault!
The same day we had this case: the cute cat was raised by Mrs. Cati since it was a kitten. She asked us to help her with the sterilization and adoption. We transported her to the clinic by trolley and she meowed all the way. We were lucky it was empty, so we didn't bother anyone :). Shortly after she was adopted!
Mrs. Anca S.'s dogs (01.03.2012)
We found out by mistake that Mrs. Anca S. also has a problem with abandoned dogs in the area where she lives. Most of them are males, both pups and mature dogs, and apparently it is a habit to abandon dogs there. One of them has the ears cut, someone cut them when he was a pup. We are grateful to Mrs. Anca S. for supporting our activity and we will not stop finding masters for her dogs. You can find all of them here. We wish them good luck!
The pups from Ramnicu Valcea (28.02.2012) Ramona's sister, the girl from Drumul Taberei that takes care of these pups, contacted us as well and asked us to help her with a lot of pups that she found on the streets of Ramnicu Valcea. Some where even found in the woods. The pups where one more beautiful then the other and there's no wonder that some of them quickly found families. Cristina even made the effort of coming to Bucharest to give them to their new families. We hope that the girls that remained will find good homes as well. The rest of the pups you can find here.
Our first donation (27.02.2012) One month ago, we tried to help in Trip's case. We gave one dropper, but he still needed at least 3. Mrs. Westermann saw the case and she send us the droppers all the way from Germany. Beside these, she also donated a transportation box, some drugs, other droppers and a loooot of doggy biscuits. Since our dogs do not lack food, we donated the products to the dogs in Jilava, that are taken care of byt he girls from ASMA (Environment and Animal Safety Association). We are very grateful to Mrs. Westermann for her donation!
Limping dog's pups (21.02.2012) Mrs. Serpescu got involved in this dog's case. Unfortunately her paw welded wrong and nothing can be done, she will limp her whole life, but her pups Ifa and Racy are still looking for masters. The mum will be sterilized soon and maybe someone will want to offer her a chance. More about her you can find here.
(Lots of dogs in Drumul Taberei (18.02.2012) Ramona contacted us to present the case of about 30 dogs from the area where she lives. The dogs were not neutered, there were lots of female dogs and therefor lots of pups. Meanwhile the mature dogs where lifted by ASA and sterilized and will be put in a temporary shelter. At the moment Ramona is dealing with the case of almost 10 pups that all need to be adopted. The ones available you can find in the Dogs and pups for adoption page, the rest have already been adopted. Lets' wish them all good luck!
The pups from the MatVet clinic (16.02.2012) These pups have been rescued and accommodated at the MatVet clinic. They urgently need masters as they are now living in cages and do not have space to move. Camé has been adopted on the 29.02, but she was returned as she is a very energetic dog. Please give them a chance to have a family!
Ani - the dog with blue eyes (07.02.2012) This wonderful blue eyed dog was "given" to us by Mr. Zamfir, hoping that we will find a good home for her. She was living outside town, in a company's parking lot. We took her, sterilized her, treated her for the scabies that she was suffering from and now she is staying at Mr. Ferbintenu's shelter in Popesti-Leordeni. Although she was supposed to be promoted for adoption in Germany, apparently the people there are not interested in her, so we are looking for a responsible person to adopt her (Ani - as we named her). She is a very mild dog and easily adaptable. We are waiting from you to contact us if you are responsible people. Thanks!
The fluffs from Predeal (06.02.2012) Mrs. Serpescu, wth whom we collaborated before on several cases, salved a female dog and her 7 pups from a hut in Predeal. They were all taken to Mr Ferbintenu's shelter in Popesti-Leordeni, but unfortunately, even if the pups had 2 vaccines made on time, 3 of them died from Distemper. The 4 females that survived will return to the shelter in no time, and are ready to get adopted. The mum will soon be sterilized and we will try to find her a good home. Let's keep our fingers crossed! https://picasaweb.google.com/112976017265696889699/Bursucii
The puppies from a bag (07.01.2012) Literally.....first day 4 pups, 3 girls and one boy, where thrown in the dogs' pen in a closed bag. The person that threw them probably thought that the bog dogs would hurt them, but is wasn't the case. Two of the fluffy mutts where playful and sociable, 2 girls were absolutely traumatized. The second day 4 more appeared. The next day, 3 disappeared, so they remained 5. Unfortunately only the black Lafu found a wonderful master, the girls went out through the fence, as they were really small. Soon we hope to stop these miss fortunate incidents.
Mummy and the 4 pups (05.12.2011) A female dog with big ears was abandoned with her 4 pups in the area where Alexandra lives. She seemed young, was frightened and so were the pups as well. Unfortunately only one found a home, as the others were taken away by the people in the area. We really wish that people can understand that we can help and change a little the situation, but only if we collaborate. The pups had big chances to be adopted and wouldn't have staid on the street, but in this situation, nobody knows what happened to them. Alexandra is in "charge" of becoming friends with the mum, so that we can sterilise her. At least so that she won't bring other pups in the world.
Black and white cat (30.11.2011) The kitty in the image was found by an old lady that asked us t help her find a home for it. From what she said, the cat was cuddly, playful, smart and sociable. She managed to sterilise her and with Andreea's help, the cat found masters. We hope she has a calm and happy life!
Three color Wapi (23.11.2011) Wapi is another kitten found on the street and saved from an uncertain faith. Very scared at the beginning, she soon became a playful and sociable cat. It took some time until someone fell in  love with her, but we can finally say that she has had the luck to be adopted at the beginning of the year. Very beautiful beginning!
The two blacks (22.11.2011) Jadu and Vani were found together in the same day as Ido was. They were sociable and playful , but suffered from a skin condition. Fortunately it was not something serious and they recovered very quickly. And both were fortunate to be adopted, even if they are black cats ;).
Ido - the most beautiful kitten (21.11.2011) Ido is a beautiful kitten found by Fabi. A crazy and playful tiger kitty as he was, no wonder he found a home very fast. Shortly after we posted his case, Ido left for his family. We wish him a wonderful life.
Black kitten (03.11.2011) Andreea and Vlad, from the cabinet that we collaborate with, Bozo and Associates, have been contacted by some friends who were in the following situation: they found a small cat that gain their sympathy from his nerve and strength. These friends are building their house outside of Bucharest, and the cat has come into the yard and took possession of it and of the dog 's kennel. The cat entered in the kennel and refused to leave it. The dog didn't go in since. So they had to build a special kennel for the cat, so the dog could have a home. :) The kitten is very small, but cute and smart. He is very friendly but does his needs in the sand mountain for the cement, and thus is not the favorite of the workers. Maybe we can find a warm place for him. And of course the small cat was lucky enough to get adopted!
Lupita, german shepard mixed breed (01.11.2011) Lupita is a dog of 7-8 months that was abandoned as a pup in a park with a sister with big ears. Her little sister has disappeared and Lupita remained alone, making a home in a drain. Months passed until a gentleman managed to become friends with her, feeding her daily. Finally, Lupita has proved to be a very gentle dog and grateful for every caress, was dewormed, vaccinated and neutered and being so beautiful, has found a master who gave her a whole yard as her home.
Bichon mixed breed (27.10.2011) Seda is a 2-3 months old pup, from a mixed breed mom and bichon dad, who needed a loving master. Her mum was neutered and Seda quickly found a master and a family.
Mitzi, the cat with the painted nose (26.10.2011) Mitzi is a kitten found by a lady who asked us to help her give him up for adoption. As you can see in the pictures he is pretty and seems very droll. So we were not surprised that he quickly found a master.
Veverita - the squirrel :) (25.10.2011) Veverita (the squirrel) is a kitten found by ... Fabi:). She was 2-3 months, a little scared, but if you held her she would purr like a little engine. She slowly adapted to people and since she was quite beautiful, was adopted fairly quickly.
A colorful kitten (16.10.2011) Tadi is a 2-3 months old kitten found by Fabi  at the countryside. She was living near an old lady's house and had eaten only bread before she was found. No wonder she had a lack of vitamins and calcium and she looked just like a little alien. She was very slim, had very large eyes and when she was brought inside where it was warm, she probably didn't believe her luck. She quickly became better and had the luck to be adopted by a lady who knew what to expect from a cat with a few problems.
Gica, the kitten from the garbage (18.10.2011) Gica is a male cat found by a friend of Betty in the garbage bin. We do not believe it was thrown there, but rather that he was born somewhere in the neighborhood. Being tiny and very pretty, he was lucky enough to find quickly a master.
Hadi and Rara - the fastest adoption ever :) (12.10.2011) Hadi and Rara are 2 one month old kittens found in the street on the 12/10/2011. Until the photo shoot two days passed, on the 14/10/2011 ads were placed with the two kittens, and both were adopted after 2 hours! We know how much it counts to have good pictures and Hadi and Rara were lucky to be very photogenic. We wish the same success to all animals with the same need for owners.
The small Peda (11.10.2011) Peda is a pup found by Betty (another veterinarian with a big heart). She was so dirty, that you couldn't see the color. After a long bath, an external disinfection and a warm bed, Peda showed who she is. A playful  dog, sometimes naughty. With her way to be, she was able to quickly conquer her new owner.
Kati also has cats ( 04.10.2011) In addition to the many dogs, Kati had to take care of eight cats of different ages. Luckily they were cute and funny and 6 of them quickly found owners. Fago and Mada, which you can see at the adoption page still remain. Hopefully they will also soon  have their home.

Andreea's cats (14.09.2011) Andreea is helping an elderly woman to find owners for some cats. In September, one male and two females were abandoned, all about 45 months old. Luckily the male found a master. he girls, one in three colours, the other one black, are still looking. Let's wish them good luck!
Kati's dogs (12.09.2011) Kati is also a member of the association, also a veterinarian who takes care of about 20 mature dogs, neutered, which had the luck to be tolerated in pen in the city. In addition, this fall there have been another 10 puppies abandoned in one month and a mother with cubs. As expected, the boys were adopted, leaving the girls and adults. We want people to understand that they can adopt and grow with ease any female, as we offer the sterilization for free when they turn 6 months, is a routine procedure, without hassle and they can happily own a dog or cat without worrying about bringing pups the world. Until then, we will take care of these pets and encourage their adoption, whether they are puppies or adults, girls or boys.
3 beautiful kittens (09.09.2011) Tacu, Zaka and Ybi are three kittens found on the street. They were lucky to be rescued by a kind person that took care of them very well, as the pictures show, and asked us for help to find them owners. Tacu was adopted quickly and the spotted sisters remained with the person that saved them.
Labus, an unlucky dog (06.09.2011) Labus is a doggy held by a lady in the house only at night because it has some malicious neighbors won't let him stay in the area and hit him (was also operated on the foot, but now is fine). He is about 1 year old, spayed, dewormed and vaccinated. He's very friendly, gentle and sweet. Maybe someone sees and adopt him, a yard would be ideal for him. He needs a master urgently. For adoption please call 0721017122 or write to fabiutza1985@yahoo.com
Xama, a spoiled cat (04.09.2011) Xama was found .... also by Fabi:). When she came to us she was 3 months old, was quite skinny, but very sticky and playful. White with gray, with a look that melted you, Xama eventually managed to charm a girl so that eventually she became her owner.
Tiger kitten (03.09.2011) Whisk is a kitten found by Andreea and Vlad from Bozo and Associatii. He was three months old, was cute and cuddly. As he looked like a miniature tigre and was very gentle, he quickly found owners. We wish him a peaceful and carefree life. :)
Labrador mixed breed - Puca (19.08.2011)
Puca is a pup found by Fabi. She was two months old, clean, had no fleas, which led us to believe that someone had taken her into the house, bathed her, but since she was a puppy and sprightly (as it turned out), probably they had no patience with her and left her on the street. Unfortunately this is typical for people in this country. But ... all for the best because she was found precisely by Fabi, was held in temporary accommodation and was adopted as a friend for a small dog with a lot of energy.
A dog that has been shot (12.08.2011) This is an abandoned dog found in the morning of July 22, 2011 near the gas station (near the Holocaust memorial at the former Ministry of Interns). She had surgery at her behind legs and still a cannula. It is estimated that the surgery was made about a week to ten days ago. She could not walk so she was crawling to find shelter under a car stationed in the area. She has an earring with the no. 5503. The X-ray showed that she had been shot (still had a shot in the body) and that she has a herniated disc. It is assumed that she has been hit by a car, proof being the rear legs showing sutures. She has had treatment with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory and was operated on the column. Ema unfortunately cannot walk anymore, she uses a wheelchair, but has adapted quite well with it, is lively and sweet. A little help is needed, because costs have already reached 600 ron, also and temporary accommodation or even adoption is in need. Who can help in any way is asked to write to a_serpescu@yahoo.com or call 0740319971 . Thank you! Some movies with Ema in the wheelchair: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10150348203744721 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10150347739344721 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10150347742414721
The orange Raco (09.08.2011) Fabi only dealt with kittens this summer :). Raco was also found on the street, all alone, small ... but not scared. He spent some time in temporary accommodation, given how it's cute, and was lucky to be adopted. That is what we wish for all abandoned animals.......responsible and loving owners!
Mitzura (05.08.2011) Mitzura is a cat found by Fabi and her friends from Bozo and Associates, in a village. Found is an understatement as it was actually rescued from a tree. Crazy as she turned out to be, she climbed too high and could not come down. As the tree was in a neighboring yard, uninhabited, saving her was a real adventure. Fabi was forced to climb the fence and support a hoe to the tree for the cat to come down on it and be taken from there. Luckily she was a smart and brave cat, thus she had the good luck to be brought to Bucharest, and although initially we have been looking for owners, Andreea and Vlad fell in love with her and now she spends time at the clinic with Titi, the male cat rescued from the same village.
Kafe and Efe (03.08.2011) On this day, I (Irina) thought to post these two dogs near my building. Kafe is a beautiful female dog, terrier mixed breed, good as a guardian dog, also sticky and brave. Efe is a male, more scared of people, he needs someone who knows well the behavior of dogs, or to be adopted together with Kafe. Either way, we wish them good luck in finding good owners. Of course they are both spayed.
Rama the tiger (28.07.2011) Rama is a kitten found by Alexandra. She had a hit paw and was just 3 months old, small and cute, she immediately fell asleep in her arms. We tried since to find her an owner, but Alex got so attached to her, that she adopted the kitten. She was sterilized at on 16.09.2011 at our new help clinic Bozo and Associatii.
Other kittens (25.07.2011) A friend of a friend (we know how it sounds, but it's true) had at the countryside a cat with 5 kittens. Unfortunately the cat died and the kittens remained orphans. Being so cute, three of them found families, and the last two remained at their mother's owner.
Another series from Fabi (14.07.2011) As the first 4 were not enough, Fabi found another 6, barely a month. A black girl did not survive, but the others have proved they will not give up so easily, even if they were abandoned. And they slowly began to look as cats and they were all adopted.
Fabi's kittens (26.06.2011) As we are soon opening our own association and we are currently 5 members, Fabi being one of them, our work has increased and therefore we have more pets for adoption. That happened when Fabi found four 2-3 months old kittens  in the rain. Fortunately they did not catch a cold and were soon adopted.
The labs (23.06.2011) 5 one month old puppies were left in the park, closed in a bag. We will never understand how some people have no pity of these creatures and more than that, why they do not sterilize their dogs. Even if the price seems to be high, the intervention and the expense are made ONCE. How can you bear to throw or to kill puppies 2 times a year, is more than we can understand.     Of the five, a boy was creamy, a little girl golden, and the other girl and two boys, brown. Unfortunately the cream-colored boy died shortly, possibly bitten by the other dogs in the pen. The golden girl disappeared and I'm terrified when I think she may have got into the hands of a person who, if she resembles to a Labrador at maturity, she will be mated continuously. At least the three others left, had a better fate. Both boys were adopted, and the girl, Naci, remained here, she was cleansed and vaccinated, will be neutered at 6 months and looks like a sack of potatoes :)
The fluffs (21.06.2011) The fluffs are 3 black pups, one girl and two boys, incredibly beautiful. Besides the 3 one month and a half puppies, another female dog, barely one month old appeared in the yard, all black, with no tail, but with short hair. The tenants were baptized Lafi (the dwarf), the other girl Mace and the boys Fafi and Gado. Gado had the privilege of being taken home by a neighbor and cleansed. The four blacks did not stay with us for too long, both boys were adopted by people who walked past the pen and unfortunately we know nothing about the girls. We know that the disappearance of these puppies is not encouraging, but unfortunately we can not avoid the situation now. We think, however, that being so small and getting out through the fence, they were able to find their own masters:). So let's see the positive side.
Mixed blue Russian cat (08.08.2011) Bolz is a blue Russian cat, found on the street. We suspect that it was not abandoned, but was lost. In the area where he was found no one recognized him, so he was taken into temporary accommodation, spayed and given for adoption surprisingly fast. Bolz now has a new family and no reason to leave:)
7 pups (02.06.2011) Fabi was asked by an acquaintance to help her with 7 puppies that she wants to give up for adoption. So we offered to help in posting adds. We can not say more than that the 7 dwarfs were adopted and the mother is soon to be sterilized.

The dogs in front of my building (28.05.2011) I (Irina) had 5 dogs in front of my building, of which only 4 were adoptable: Tigruta, Negrut, Fetita and Toby. As people are evil everywhere, even if in the area are many animal lovers and pet owners and the dogs are generally tolerated, there are still people who have a problem with their existence, although they do not try to do anything to improve the situation. So we are trying. A neighbor who takes care of them asked me to try to find owners for them. Following our adds, Toby has found excellent owners who are crazy about him. Fetita was taken by another neighbor, and Tigruta and Negrut are still waiting for someone to come and give them a family.
A dog with big ears (20.05.2011) Gaga is another dog found by Alex, scared and infested with scabies. She was treated, socialized, spayed by FOUR PAWS and now keeps Fade company at the warehouses where Alex's mother he works. As it turns out, she does not need a master, whereas she was accepted there.
Efa and Fade (17.05.2011) The two pups were found by Alexandra, our friend that often pointed out to us cases of abandoned pets. Efa and Fade remained orphans after their mother was poisoned and Alex offered them temporary accommodation at her home. Efa was given for adoption soon, and Fade was sterilized by the doctors from FOUR PAWS. Fade is now temporarily accommodated at some warehouses and looking forward to have a master.
Bana and Dadi (05.05.2011) Bana and Dadi are two very small female dogs, Bana a Chihuahua mixed breed and Dadi a Jack Russell Terrier mixed breed, who were in need of new masters. They were taken from a lady who had too many animals and they quickly found owners . They were lucky they had responsible owners who sterilized them on their own, although we offered to help with the sterilization. We want to have owners like that for all our pets.
Pekingese mixed breed (01.05.2011) Ama was found in a village by a member of the association. Bening so small and gentle, Fabi decided to bring her to Bucharest and give her a chance. It was dewormed, vaccinated, sterilized and Ama has quickly found its owner. To more adoptions!
Beautiful Caia (30.04.2011) To this day I can not believe how a dog so beautiful, playful, curious, courageous and balanced got on the street. She was two months old, beautiful and very funny. Now at 5 months she is not much different, is still playful, has recently been neutered and enjoys the company of the other dogs she always plays with. We received many requests for Caia, but as everyone thought she was a husky mixed breed, when they heard she was only a mixed breed, they suddenly became uninterested. Lets' hope for the best and believe that there are people for whom the breed does not matter.
A cat with mustache :) (28.04.2011) Zaja is a cat incredibly mild  and sticky. She has a lot of patience, likes to stay in your arms and be comforted and is an ideal pet for a family with children. She lives in a clinic, is sterilized and even if she has someone who takes care of her, we think she will be better in a family. So if someone wants to adopt her, she is still available. Zaja is waiting!
Garfield, the mild cat (20.04.2011) Garfield is a cat found on the street, who was hospitalized because he had auricular mange. Besides this, he was more than spoiled, nice, loved to be petted and there was afraid of nothing. Of course as friendly as it was, he has been adopted quickly. We have helped onlywith the ads, but it was worth it.
Three stray dogs (15.04.2011) Carnu ', Scalpi si Chioruta .... three four year old dogs, abandoned when they were puppies and raised by the people from the area. They are gentle and spoiled with the people they know, but defend their territory. Are noisy and territorial, which make them good guard dogs. But also, are friendly, even with strangers. There are not aggressive and not afraid of people. We are all very spoiled and love to be caressed and loved. When I moved to the area (Irina) I thought they deserved a chance to have a family. They lived enough on the street. Are vaccinated and dewormed, spayed of course, and all they want is their family.
Small dog with big problems (01.04.2011)
When someone tells you on April 1 that they found a small dog , old, nearly blind and with one foot that does not touch the ground,  you may  believe it is a joke for April Fool's Day. Unfortunately, it was not for the dog that Andreea found in a crowd, completely disoriented and not knowing to protect from cars. She could not careless pass by her, so he took her home. Being trimmed, we initially thought someone had lost her. We put ads with it and pasted posters in the area, hoping the owner will look for her. It was not the case, but Fifi has finally been lucky and was adopted by a girl in Bacau who has other pets and takes good care of her. Andreea has kept in touch with the girl, who often send photos of the female dog. We are glad that there are people who offer chances to animals with so many problems.
The scared ones (14.02.2011) Who are the scared ones? 4 2 months old puppies, a boy and three girls, so traumatized, that they bit when we wanted to pet them. Obviously badly taken care of, malnourished and at all sociable. But beautiful and with potential. After being dewormed, vaccinated and given time to get used to people, the puppies became cute and simply longed for attention. Zabu, the boy, disappeared, hopefully he was adopted. Wani was adopted, was taken to the country to keep company to a white male, of course, after being sterilized. Ybe and Xali remained together, they were sterilized and Ybe was adopted by a gentleman, but unfortunately she ran away from him and was not found. Xali is still looking for a master, is sociable and very spoiled. Hopefully she will soon have her home.
Mother and daughter (03.02.2011) Again the work colleague asked us for help for the same lady who had Wado and Lafa. This time the tenants were from the same family. Uca and Vala were mother and daughter and being so nice and gentle, they quickly found  masters. There are  lucky cats in the world!
A cute cat from the street (17.01.2011) Taca was found by Fabi, one of our colleagues, in front of the building. She did not know if it was abandoned or born on the street, but was definitely a very spoiled and cute cat . So she decided to give her a chance. Taca was dewormed, vaccinated and neutered and has found a family that loves and spoils her. To more adoptions!
Two sticky cats (30.11.2010) Wado and Lafa came to our attention when a colleague told me (Irina) she has a neighbor who wants to give them for adoption. They were taken off the street, dewormed, vaccinated, sterilized and lived alone (Wado is male actually) in a 2 room apartment. What a life! Following the adds, Wado was adopted first after a month, then followed Lafa a week after Wado was adopted. Two lucky cats!
Black Sea (30.11.2010) Sea was a dog that looked like a sausage, had a long body and short legs, silly looking and incredibly nice. It appeared in the pen just like the others and quickly adapted. She was about 2 months and was very funny. She was lucky to be adopted by a boy that melted after her and gave her the opportunity to have her yard. And just like that Sea got spoiled.
Problems with Edu (20.11-27.11.2010)
We do not know exactly what happened to Edu then, but it is certain that he was very ill and I had a real adventure with him. It all started when it seems hit and a nose bleed, but not in a scary amount. Otherwise he ate, barked and was active. In a few days he did not want to get out, lost the appetite and seemed unable to open his muzzle to eat. I got convinced of this when I tried to open it by force and it hurt him very much. He started treatment with antibiotics and anti-inflammatory injections and in the last day of treatment he disappeared. To avoid a long story, I found out that he was taken to ASPA where I went with Cristina, an animal protector from the area and found him in a deplorable condition, wet on wet tiles, in the middle of the winter cold. I immediately pulled him out of there and took it to Vier Pfoten, who was working in the building in front. They put him on warm infusion and allowed him to stay one night there.
The next day I called the ambulance from the clinic Ortovet who diagnosed him with distemper, but was also was suspected of poisoning. Regardless of what it was, Edu was on the brink of death, requiring blood transfusion, provided also by the clinic. After a week in clinical state, Edu was discharged, but was very weak and had visible nervous signs. His situation was not pink at all, the chances of adoption were decreasing. However, with supportive care, good food and a lot of love, Edu recovered in a proportion of 90%, remaining with quite serious damage, namely at the moment he is deaf Edu. He still barks and he is active, but only when he sees other dogs' agitation. Even so it does not seem to bother him, he is happy and crazy and he looks excellent again . So who wants to adopt Edu must take into account his disability. I do not think it would be an impediment, even before Edu was not a guard dog, but only a company one.
Dogs adopted through us, the collection of summer-autumn 2010 Through us, many puppies have found good homes. Their cases have been reported trough email by various people that took care of them until they were adopted. We recall them so we can encourage us to go further, but also to show people that there are valid solutions to reduce the number of street dogs. At that time we were two persons that searched for owners and the result is shown below. In about 6 months we gave for adoption the dogs below. If we would have been more, we would have definitely had better results.

The princesses (15.10.2010) The princesses have been named so because, after being abandoned, they exhibited a home raised dog behavior. They did not like to sit outside, to be rained, to become dirty with mud, they ate in their cages, etc.. Therefore they behaved exactly like princesses. :) We named the Jack Russell terrier mixed breed Oda and the other dwarf Peba. They were inseparable and very cute, they quickly adapted to people, but more difficult with other dogs. In December, we found that Oda was pregnant and was spayed immediately. Two months after, Oda was adopted, Peba was sterilized with the other girls by Vier Pfoten (Four Paws) and she had the good fortune to be adopted at Easter by a family with children who were overjoyed when she entered their family.
The black and white girls (02.10.2010) The black and white girls were 5 three months old pups, scared (we already got used to that) that were obviously abandoned in the yard. From five remained only two, Jaci and Kafa, of which Kafa looks very much alike a border collie. Shortly thereafter, one of the sisters was brought back in the pen, had a collar around the neck, but was terribly ill and had to be euthanized. Jaci and Kafa were disinfected, sterilized, vaccinated with Vier Pfoten's help and now are ready to be adopted and loved. We expect you to see and play with them.
The 5 German Shepard mixed breed pups :) (30.09.200) The five puppies were three boys and two girls, three black and two brow, one month and half old, that were flipped in the dog pen. Where there are many, there will be more, unfortunately this is our mentality. The dwarfs were well cared for, both internally and externally disinfected, a girl and a boy were taken directly from the pen, Ubo, one of the black boys, was adopted after a week, Vadi and Ico, the brown puppies have been vaccinated and neutered at 5 months by Vier Pfoten and Vadi has found a wonderful owner. Ico is still temporarily accommodated at us and is crazy and playful, but noisy when someone approaches the fence. It will be a good guard dog for someone someday.
Maia and the cats (24.09.2010) Mrs. Serpescu, which we helped with the sterilizations at the Romanian Lottery, contacted us to tell us that one of the shy female dogs had a terrible experience. A person without a soul (cannot be called a human being), tied her tightly around the neck and pulled all of the claws from all four paws. Maia, this is the name of the dog, was treated and was held at Mrs. Serpescu's office. We tried to find temporary accommodation, if not adoption, but Mrs. Serpescu eventually decided to adopt Maia, given her trauma. At least from now we know for sure that Maia will have a life beyond extraordinary. Beside Maia's case, Mrs Serpescu told us that in the park there are two cats, a female and a male, both incredibly gentle and in need of masters. So now Xai and Ralu are still looking for their owners.
Alexandra's cats (12.07.2010) Alexandra is a nice 17 years old girls, who is as crazy as we are we are about animals. She told us about a lot of cases of abandoned dogs, for some we found owners, she adopted two girls herself. Now, however, she found three kittens and a dog with big ears. A cat with white socks and the pup, Habu, found owners from ads, and the last two cats have been adopted by Cati, a veterinarian and our friend, she has neutered them and took them to the country side to keep company to another crazy cat their own age. How good it feels when all the dwarfs are adopted!
Small Jaco (01.07.2011) And when the dwarfs were adopted, a woman (because she can not be named a lady) left this dwarf in front of the yard. Stated that she took it directly from the street, she thought she made a good deed leaving it to us. Since he was incredibly small and could escape through the fence, I temporary "accommodated" in at the association ROBI who has managed to give him up for adoption. Now Jaco, because that name stuck, is happy with his family, being adopted by a friend of Carla's.
The peckingeses (25.06.2010)   And since a trouble never comes alone, shortly after I "got" the fluffies, we've got 5 new puppies, this time small. They were small both and the age and size, three boys and two girls. Very pretty and cute, they look like toys. :) They were so small that they passed smoothly through the enclosure fence and the girls disappeared shortly after. One of the boys followed a man until he almost reached the street, where he was taken by a girl and now he is very good. And the other two had the good fortune to be adopted by a very nice lady who wanted only one to keep company for her mother, but when she met Andreea, she could not choose between them and has adopted them both.

The "fluffies" (22.06.2010) The five puppies, four girls and one boy (looks like a deja vu, we know) came shortly after Edu. They were more than malnourished, some walking skeleton and full of ticks. Between the toes of paws there were nests of ticks, some as big as the head of a pin. They were so weak that they had no power to retaliate in any way when I wanted to carry the. They have been washed, disinfected, vaccinated, have made treatment with vitamins and calcium and we tried our best to find them homes. Unfortunately, only Ka, the boy, was adopted, a little girl disappeared (hopefully she is ok), and the last three remaining girls had a very sad fate of being poisoned. The fact that both had a short life and a death so terrible, made me terribly sad, but the thought that as long as they were under our protective wing, they were really happy, encourage us to go further.

Edu, the most crazy dog (20.06.2010) Edu appeared one day in the parking lot near the dog pen. He was thin and accompanied by a very beautiful female dog who found some friends a few blocks away. Having already a ring in a ear, I assumed that they were sterilized and regionalised by CTV2 where they thought fit. So we got a gentle, playful, incredibly weak and greedy about food Edu. When I saw how friendly he is, I thought I should get him acquainted with the dwarves of the enclosure and he adapted perfectly. He quickly became friends with Ursa, who was the only one on its size:), he fattened and will make an ideal pet for a family with children. It's incredibly gentle.
Pet Expo (18-20.06.2010) It is true that we only attended the first day when we carried Faeb and Ladi (14 kg of dog) to the exhibition. The effort was worth it because when I was wondering exactly how will we take them back, their fate was sealed as they were both adopted. Faeb spends time with an older brother with a red nose, the owner being a veterinary student and Ladi has been renamed Cora and has all the yard for her. How much we love happy endings!

The 5 "huskies" (15.06.2010) Why "husky"? They were 5 wonderful puppies, one boy and four girls, one of which had a bule eye and a brown one. Two of them resembled very well wit husky dogs, and two girls were nearly identical and all were scared when they were left in the pen. They were two months old and had been very badly kept, they had rough and dull coat and did not approach humans. In time they became friedly, playful and sociable, and so had the good fortune to be adopted. One of the remaining girls have been adopted later than others and when she was spayed, it was discovered that she had internal bleeding, probably from the fact that she had been poisoned. Luckily she has recovered quickly and got to spend time at a home with a yard in the province. Another happy ending!

Little Abby (10.06.2010) In our home town:) Onesti, Andreea found a small dog, scared and dirty. Abby! It is much smaller than it looks in the picture and he is currently taken care of by an elderly woman. Unfortunately we can not give more details than that, except Abby is waiting for his master to save him from the street life. Even if the city is small, there are still threats and evil men.
Bruna (08.06.2010) Bruna is a beautiful dog that was abandoned in early summer in the area where I live (Irina). She had four months and was simply terrified of people. She was barking when someone approached her and even after so long she failed to gain trust in people so as to leave them pet her. She needed tranquilizer to be sterilized and, unfortunately, as you can not put your hand on she, is not a dog suitable for adoption. She is not aggressive, but it is obvious that the dog is traumatized. However, if anyone would like to give her a chance in a yard, she would be an excellent guard dog, but will need tranquilizer again for the transportation .
Leaving for Germany (07.06.2010) With Olivia Offner's Salvate Canes' association, many kids from ROBI association have left to Germany. Along with them went Ada (or Bella as renamed) from Chitila. Rita, a small-sized dog was accommodated one night at Andreea's and amused herself with Tzony, the family dog. The good news came quickly, Ada was eventually adopted by a friend of Olivia and Rita is spoiled by two cute girls.

Tiger Mira (30.05.2010) And as an only cat never comes alone ....here is how Mira came into my life (Andreea). And not anyhow, but with scandal and war. She was as big as a palm, almost wild, hiding under cars. When I tried to grab her, she bit me very hard and she wouldn't let go of my hand. I took her in the house, where she stayed about two days under the refrigerator, she spit when I approached her and didn't know if I would ever tame her. The home was full of cats again, after I gave four of the dwarves, but I had Yumi and Cherry also. Slowly she started to get out of the refrigerator and began to play with the house band and she soon became an adoptable cat. Meanwhile Yumi left and Mira stayed friends with Cherry. Now both girls are waiting to be adopted.

A quiet evening in June, clear, full moon, under a car in a parking a slow caterwaul... I look around and what did I see? A gray brindle kitten, small as a palm. One touch was enough to befriend us, and the geared motor started. We are talking about Yumi, a sticky female kitten, only a month old who instantly adapted to the furry friends in the apartment, but very talkative and loving and more than anything, with an orange stain in the head. Chance smile to her a few days later at the association's adoption campaign, where she was adopted by a wonderful young couple who subsequently rescued an abandoned tomcat and thus Yumi received as a gift a companion.

The female wolf with pups (17.05.2010) The email for this case was as follows: Hello, I live in a residential neighborhood in Voluntari. In front of houses is one small park where children play. There has been abandoned a female dog – that looks like a German Shepard – that gave birth to 6 pups. She no longer has milk to feed them. Because of this, she became aggressive and there is the danger she will attack the children. People have decided to no longer feed her, and let her die, both her and her offspring. We felt that their logic is unfounded, given that from the lack of food she is becoming increasingly more aggressive, which is why I tried from time to time give her something to eat, and neighbors were outraged. There is the risk that she will attack children who have food in their hand or to be poisoned along with her pups. Please help us to take them outside the neighborhood, a place near a forest, somewhere they have a chance of survival and not be poisoned. We can not approach her because she is aggressive. Please contact me. With thanks in advance, V. Dumitrache
Andreea went with a colleague of ours from the association, Roxana on site to see the situation. And here are the conclusions:
We went to take pictures of the "aggressive" bitch with pups. The lady that called us prepared foods to tame the bitch. When we got there, the "aggressive" bitch  began to fawn beside us, to wave the tail and followed us without feeling the food. We arrived near the children park, where stood six fluffy pups, not more than six weeks old, that looked like small wolves. I gave food to the hungry poor pups (the last decision of the administration is to no longer give any food so they would starve - and everyone listen to this order). The dog ate with them, beside us, without having any ounce of aggression. I even put my hand when she was near the food and did nothing. Then, where so much aggression? She had just finished eating when a "gentleman" came to take his child (which until then had played with the pups and the bitch). And then the circus began. The dog approached him and he took one of the plastic slides in the park and began threatening her with him. Of course the poor dog got scared and started to bark. He began to swear and continued to hit the poor bitch with the plastic that was bigger than her. And he threatened to poison them all, as they don't belong there. I understood that he wasn't the only one that wants to poison them. The whole area is in his consent, because bitch is "dangerous". The bitch ceased immediately after he left, and came to us waving her tail. She looks a young and resembles like a German Shepherd, so she would have some chance of adoption. And thepuppies are adorable. The female dog is now hosted at a lady in Pipera, she needs to be sterilized and have left only two daughters for adoption from the six fluffy ones. Hopefully,we will quickly find the mother a master. Perfect weekend (7-8 may 2010)
Why perfect? We were constantly on the run. Friday we managed to vaccinate the 2 small dogs in Chitila. Saturday we didn't stay one second. In the morning we went in Chitila to take another female dog from the warehouse to the vet to get sterilized, and Yba to take to the adoption fair in Obor. We took the two female dogs, one big and one small :). We left the big one to the vet, we took Yba to the fair and left her there, we took our colleague Roxana with us to City Vet, where we took 3 vaccines for the three bigger dogs that remained in Chitila, we went back to the vet where the big female was. She was too dizzy to be taken away, so we decided to left her over night at the vet. We went to Chitila where we vaccinated the 3 dogs, then we went back to Obor where I had the pleasant surprise to find out that Yba has been adopted. Also, a day before Face disappeared from my pen and the new owner came with her to the fair, proud of her new dog. We signed an adoption contract with him and kept in touch. Sterilizations in Sos Chitilei (23 april 2010)
We went on the 23rd of April in Sos Chitilei, where Alexandra presented us the cases of the abandoned pups, to see what else we can do to avoid these situations. Near the place where she lives there is a warehouse where there are a lot of dogs, from which 3 not-sterilized females, one already pregnant. In that Saturday, I (Irina) called my friend who helped me before with the transport, and we took the "emergency" to the vet. Everything went well and the small size dog was free from raising pups. We are very happy that we once again avoided bringing pups to the world. Pepe - nobody's cat (19 april 2010)
Typical story - owner goes to Italy and leaves the cat to the parents .... parents move to the province leave the cat to the neighbor across the street, neighbor gives the cat to a colleague, who intended to take him to the country side. Everything ok so far, but the country side option did not reach the final, fought from house to house, an eight years old half breed of Persian, Pepe becomes aggressive and can not be touched, so he gets abandoned in the building.I get involved (Andreea) and ask the woman to take him back home, and I promise her to castrate him and find him masters.I went to take Mr. Pepe from the building, where he stayed for more than two weeks in a box with wires from the phone ... he first spit at me, but later became the most gentle cat ... from where I concluded that this woman did not plan to go to the country with him, but do not know what was on her mind.He was not a  youngster anymore, but "the country" was not a solution for because he lived only in apartments. He was extremely thin, only fur that was actually matted hair and missing near the neck, where I assumed he had a flea collar.
His luck was on Sofisticat exposition at Romexpo, where he was adopted and is now a very spoiled cat. 5 balls( april 2010)
They were abandoned in a park by an irresponsible man, he supported them until they learned to eat and considered that they will be fine on their own, or he will get read of them by being eaten by dogs or killed by someone else ... When they were out in the open, they did what they knew best - how to scream. As there are people with hearts - luck was on their side, they were taken and prepared for adoption. They were about six weeks, playful and litter trained. The brindle markings girls were adopted by a family with two children, the red-haired boys went to a very nice couple who have another male cat, and the black dwarf is still waiting for a family. We are not losing hope and we are waiting for suitable family for little Cherry.    Lucky (27 march 2010) Mrs. Nita, who reported the case of the female dog who gave birth to 7 pups in the passage of the Grant Bridge, asked us to help her castrate a male dog who was very agitated. Norocel, a tiny waist very nice dog was castrated in early March and Mrs Nita sent us news about the boy: A word from Norocel: Dear Irina, First notice that everyone is well and healthy, my friends cleaned the central courtyard, strawberries and tulips have sprung up, it is starting to be nice. When I run around, I stumble because I have to bypass the layers of flowers, and I have a problem that people throw me all sorts of leftovers, that I cannot eat as they are too many. Anca cleans the yard when she comes to see me, and in the evening she brings me chicken soup in which she puts a little yogurt or cheese, and sometimes she leaves one biscuit to chew. Mrs. Pascu comes in the morning with good food, I sometimes receive from my friends at the central some bone to chew, so I'm a happy puppy. Norocel is an energic dog, we calmed down, he doesn't cry, and after a morning ride on the streets,he returns to the house alone. The only problem we have is that if people in the power yard forget to stick him in the yard, then he remains off until the evening when I come, but usually he sits and waits near the fence of the court where it is safe. It's slick and smart, and confirm that all strays are smarter and more resourceful. Idea (march 2010)
Around the beginning of the month, we thought to get in touch with people who have reported various cases to see whether our advice was helpful. Some people have not answered, others have managed to resolve situations, but others didn't. And we thought to offer support and try to fix things for the best interest of the animals. So we came across Mrs. Coporan whose dog Bella gave birth to seven small to medium sized (about the size of a cocker) puppies. Of the seven we managed to find masters for four, three boys and one girl. The other three, two boys and one girl, are still looking for their owners and pictures of them can be found on the Catelusi pentru adoptie page. Mommy Bella was sterilized and recently also the last girl, to be mentioned that the pups are now seven months old.The second case in which we got involved was that of a girl of 16 years old, Alexandra, who prayed us several months ago to help her place six puppies abandoned in the area by a being that can not be called human. In the meantime I advised her to post ads for the pups, but couldn't give any of them for adoption. The day we scheduled a meeting with her, she told us that a heartless being abandoned another 7 puppies, about one month old. Her neighbors were outraged and said they would send the dogs on a field, the big ones, who also have six months now, in the first phase. Alexandra managed to sterilize all six of them, and with small effort from our side, three of them found their owners. Unfortunately 4 of the small ones have not survived, but three others are now at their homes. Three six months old girls still remained and are looking for homes, that you can see at the Catelusi pentru adoptie page.
  Frida (4 march 2010)
I met Frida (Andreea) on animale.ro at adoptions, little, red-haired, cute, but in search of a master. Anca was her salvation, but the distance was quite big. Having a trip near Bacau at the beginning of March, I offered to bring her to the destination. So troops have started moving, Frida was sent from Constanta to Bucharest by train, I took her the next day and we left toward the mummy who was waiting for her. She was very good all the way, she slept with Tzony (my dog) and spent another night at my home. The next early morning, we went to Bacau to bring the dwarf to Anca, a pretty young woman. She was so excited, she waited nearly a month and when they met, she exclaimed, "What big ears she has! She is still my little fox!"We returned happy - another soul was  brought to a loving family.I received news from her and we enjoyed them.
End of February Mrs. Serpescu reported a case of a few dogs in the yard of the Romanian Lottery some time ago. She was asking for our help for placing the puppies and sterilize the adults. In the first phase, we sent a list of sites where she can post ads for puppies. When we contacted her in late February, she solved the problem puppies, but four adult dogs remained, three females and one male, to be neutered immediatly. Of the four, only one dog was gentle, the other three were wild and could not be touched, further more the two female dogs were pregnant. Happy, as she confessed, to know that someone is still interested in the fate of those dogs, Mrs. Serpescu asked us if we can help with their sterilization. We went there on a rainy day to see what we can do and unfortunately only the gentle dog was in the yard. The aloof and unfriendly dogs were walking through the city. With the help of our colleagues from the association, we got the number of Mircea who gould help with the tranquilize the dogs. We borrowed two metal cages for transport from Mari, Mrs. Serpescu found transport (our eternal problem of the lack of a car), and we scheduled the meeting with Mircea on a Saturday morning at 9:00. The day in cause proved to be not very successful,it was very cold, blizzard and obviously the dogs who were supposed to be tranquilized and sterilized were not in the yard . We all went looking in the are for the dogs, but on that blizzard we saw no trace of any dogs, it was as if Bucharest didn't have dogs on the street. We went home disappointed by the situation, but in the end everything went well, the day after, Mrs. Serpescu saw the dogs targeted, called Mircea and together they managed to sterilize the two girls. In time, the gentle dog and the boy have been neutered and a  few months after Mrs. Serpescu turned again to Mircea  to sterilize other two pregnant dogs. We still keep in touch with the missis and will help her whenever she needs us and we can. Such situations brought us new friends and allies in our fight to reduce the number of dogs on the street and encourages us to move forward, even with small steps. An unlucky fluf (18 february 2010) A soon as I (Andreea again) managed to give Jojo, I was relieved that my boyfriend did not strangle me and we resumed to the life with our five furry kids.
As miracles don't last long, one night when I went outside with Tzony what do I see? a cat that looked very familiar to me, with long fur and bushy tail that miaowed heartbreaking, I knew a lady took her in the house about a year ago. But what was it doing outside? Lady in cause had problems with the head perhaps in a fit of rage gave the cat out (as she has done before).... Mari knows her story.
She was very scared, I think she was beaten, but what shocked me was that she was terribly weak, fur hides many, you could feel her flanks and she had an emptiness where it ought to be a tummy .......... The idea was that she was not supposed to get back into the hands on that woman who only treated her bad, she was a very beautiful and spoiled cat. The eternal problem was that I could not accomodate. That night I had been thinking what to do and I called a friend who doesn't have patience with the animals, I begged her to keep her at least two days, but agreed I could expect anything  from her....
Finally a girl Raluca took her in and took great care of her, especially because the poor cat had many health problems, not serious, but that needed long time to be treated. Even so, PUFA (so we named her) found quite quickly an owner, Larisa has taken her even though she knew that a very difficult period would follow . She never gave up giving a chance to the cat that eventually proved to be quite lucky.
JOJO - the colored cat (15 february 2010)
I (Andreea) found in the building were I live an abandoned cat ..... very gentle, non-stop purring, but very thin and with a terrible cold. I couldn't keep her at home because I already had too many cats and a dog ...
I took her in for 10 minutes to clean her ears and I to take some photos, my tomcats were already mad.
She spent some time on the building heater, but my neighbors were not pleased at all, I hoped to find her a temporary accommodation or a new owner as soon as possible... I already started to put ads with it. Salvation came from a volunteer then, Adina who took her home and cared for her as if she was her own. The cat received treatment for the cold, was sterilized and soon has found a new family. News of her new life followed quickly and we are pleased we managed to save this innocent soul who wanted only to purr and to be spoiled. The dog from the bridge (14 february 2010)
That Sunday was one of the few that we had nothing scheduled to sterilize or vaccinate, so we decided to go to the shelter of Glina. It was shortly after the snow in of the dogs in the pens and many volunteers worked together to clear the snow. We went with our colleague Doina, Daniela and Alex, a big animal lover, faithful to every fair in Obor. Quoting our colleague Doina: "The road toward Glina wore us today on the quay of Dambovita. When we approached the end of it, from the nearly 100 km / h of a car loaded with people, shovels, buckets, food bags, sponges and sheets for cages (materials donated by Daniela), Irina and Andreea saw on the other side of Dambovita, namely on the concrete bulwark, a dog, sleeping on the tiles in the slope, apparently without the opportunity to ascend back to shore. So, instead of turning right toward Glina, we all decided to turn left and go back to the dog, armed with food and see the situation. Once arrived at his side, we confirm the worst fears, namely that the poor dog slipped from the shore, ended up on the concrete bulwark and remained trapped there. Without getting too much thought, Alex, the hero of the day, salt from the shore on the parapet near the dog.
This, a pretty large dog, but terribly weak and scared, did not really understand what was happening and wanted to run. But once Alex put the dog food under his nose, it changes his mind and starts eating. After 3 handfuls of dog food, the dog let Alex pet him and finally he raised him on shore. Victory! Our prisoner is shaking a bit disoriented, starts walking easily, possibly to the store in the area, whose guardian we suspected it was. We happily wave to him, and thank the faith that we were brought to him, before it was too late. We hope that from now on, our new friend will be more careful!
Mum and the pups (16 january 2010)
A man who adopted a female dog with a ring from the Pallady shelter asked our help for the following thing: the female dog gave birth to 7 cute pups and he doesn't know what to do with them. He also wants to sterilize the adult dog so the situation doesn't repeat. Because he convinced us that he will be responsible for his own dog, we decided to help him give the pups for adoption: 3 boys and 5 girls: Laco, Maco, Rex, Lace, Gabi, Fabi, Ibi and Kaba. Mr. Marin kept Rex and gave Maco to a neighbor of his. Sorin was the first to adopt Laco. Shortly Lace went to Mrs. Liliana who recently lost his dog that looked very good with Lace.
Gabi went to a couple who sent us pictures of the dog (which they named a Kaba, like her sister, because they really liked the name). Shortly after Ibi went to Ploiesti, and a neighbor of Gabi's owners adopted the real Kaba.
Initially, Mr. Marin said he would keep and Fabi, but it seems that he did not have enough much room for her and she is back for adoption. New pictures on the catei pentru adoptie page.
The  mother Ali has been sterilized and with the help of Mr Marin, other 3 female dogs from the neighborhood have been sterilized. The pups ended well and the mum has been sterilized. Case closed!

The chubs (4 december 2009)
-->One morning we received a very common event, unfortunately: a female dog gave birth to 7 pups somewhere under a passage and the lady that wrote us asked if we could help her with the sterilization and placing the pups. We went on the spot and found an incredibly friendly dog and six huge boys and a girl no less substantial. We disinfested them, took pictures and started to post ads for them.
On Christmas Eve three boys found their owners and the other 4 remained with their mother. After the holidays we went again to take new pictures of them and neuter the mother, but unfortunately shortly after we brought her back to the territory, the pups disappeared. That same weekend that Habi’s brothers were gone. Let's hope that the little ones did not end up in the hands of people without soul and that they are all well.
-->
As for the adopted puppies, I wish all animals have owners as good as Claudia, Viorel and Mandy who sent us pictures of the new members of their families.
The 7 dwarfs ( 3 december 2009) This case came on the working group and it sounded like: At the Pierre de Coubertin, across the street from Electroaparataj in the garden of a building, there are three puppies in a carton box, I have not seen the mother...one is already dead. In fact there were seven puppies, none dead. There were only very small and cold....obviously abandoned in a carton box. This is the main reason why the association Robi aims primarily toward the sterilization for animals WITH owners ......... many of the abandoned dogs came from irresponsible people who abandon them when they are pups, who knows where. Obviously some of them survive, grow, multiply and then we complain that they are on the street. Coming back to our case. We went there to see what we are dealing with. At the same time two girls, Veronica and Irina, bulit with the speed of light a house for the dwarfs. We stayed to take pictures of the pups and try to find them homes. Small as a palm and cold, they survived the frost that followed. We left them in the care of the girl who reported the case and the neighbors who have done everything possible so they wouldn’t miss anything. When we went the next week, one girl had already been adopted and we carried the dwarves to vet to vaccinate them. We also had a little surprise, they had a new house, much warmer and stronger than the one before, but we didn’t find out who built it. The good part was that we no longer had to worry, even if the outside temperature was quite low. After the photo session at the vet, we started to post ads with them. We filled the internet with ads for "small-sized dogs "..... but we had a great surprise when we visited them right after the holidays. They were big and well fed and they kissed a lot. The dwarfs tricked us! And there were fewer, they remained four, one girl and three boys. We investigated and found that the others were adopted by different people who have passed through the area. A somehow good news.
Unfortunately shortly after we made the second row of pictures, the girl contacted us telling us that that morning, everything was torn and the dogs disappeared. At the same time we dealt with another case of seven puppies, but in Grivita and the same thing happened there. The four dogs that remained had disappeared. We found it a great coincidence, the two groups being in different sectors, but disappeared in the same weekend. The day after the girl told us that they have gone, she called to tell us that one appeared. I went that night (Irina) to see what's it’s stage and I found Habi in the cage, he waved hit tail, but did not stand up. I took him out of the box and found that he couldn’t walk straight. I was with him at the vet and was told that I should not worry about it, he may have been beaten, but will recover on his own. The poor thing had his whiskers cut. Someone clearly has mocked him. I decided to take him and brought him to Ursa as a playmate. They got along perfectly from the first moment and Habi recovered quickly. After a month, Habi was adopted by Mandy, a very nice girl who since is helping us with posting ads for puppies and gave him a real home, at a yard in Brasov. Pictures of the new you can find at the povesti de la adoptatori page. November 2009 -->
A special month for both of us. Why? We are both born in this beautiful month, exactly two weeks away:) So we decided to form a small team and get involved more. We realized that together we can do more things, because we support and we complement each other. The first case solved together sounds like below:
-->
Good afternoon, We write with desperation ... We are many animal lovers inside the Romexpo center. In the Sofitel yard eight puppies were born. Everyone took care and fed them and I personally ordered vaccines for them. But yesterday they started to die poisoned. Guards at the Sofitel confirmed that apparently the poison comes from the cleaning employees. We don’t doubt that, since they are friendly, they gave it directly to the little ones. From eight there are still four and we do not know what will happen tomorrow ... Give us some advice, support ... With much respect,

-->
The person who pointed us the case, found in the meantime accommodation for mustached babies, but mom had to be sterilized fast. I (Irina) called a former college colleague and good friend and her boyfriend who have provided transportation to the doctor's office so the big and gentle dog has been sterilized and taken back in the territory.
-->
Maybe some people will ask why we are making a case from this situation. The answer is that we exempt a stray dog to bring in the world other dogs that cold have the same fate as those poisoned. And that is an achievement! It's a tiny step toward our goal: not to have any more animals on the street.... and this is just the beginning. Will let you to see more we are able to do..... we are curious as well :)
The orphans (Irina - 18.09.2009)
-->
"I am writing because this morning I noticed in the yard of the institution where I work in, a few small dogs who were left without the mother just a few weeks after they were born. He puppies are very small and constantly cry because they are not fed. I wanted to know if could you come and take them away because considering the conditions these dogs will surely die within days. The institution where I work has some very strict rules and we are not allowed to feed them, more than that, in case they will not be taken from here, the building owners here will poison them as they have done every time Please contact me! "

-->
This is how the appeal sounded like the day I decided to get involved also in housing the animals.
-->
I talked on the phone with the person who reported the case and found that eight souls were left motherless. The female dog was poisoned (deliberately or not) and she left behind her 8 helpless pups. Insisting on the fact that I can not take eight puppies, at the end three of them found their owner along the colleagues, and five were brought to me. 5 frightened and hungry balls, four girls and one boy, three of them without tails…
-->Adventures right from the first evening. I recently moved to the area and noticed that three ladies were in the care of dogs, including a four months pup who "lived" in the pen where I brought the dwarves. -->
I went to a pet shop and when I returned, the dogs disappeared. Scared that someone abandoned pups in the pen again, the ladies took them to the park. I explained to them that we will find owners and I will help to feed and care for all dogs. And so it began a beautiful friendship between me the ladies and we agreed to take care of everyone. Since then I am on "tour" 4 days in a row every couple of weeks, the main task is to feed all the dogs there, in the number of seven adults. The ladies found owners for the boy, Bebe (the only one brown) and for the girl Panda. The white girls Nelsa and Trifoi I found master posting a loooot of adds on the internet. With Patricia, the new owner of Trifoi, I kept in touch and she told me how spoiled the dog is now. Unfortunately Ursa is still in my pen, and I am still looking for a master who deserves her.
As for Cezarica, the 4 months boy who was in the pen when I got the balls, a few days later I took him, very proud of me, the his new house and yard, where can wander freely without being in danger.

The first case solved (Irina - 16.08.2009) -->The 17 year old girl’s request to help her with two female dogs that lived some few kilometers from Bucharest near some warehouses did not leave me indifferent. I was already a month old in the association and I decided to do something concrete for the people who reported us the cases. It seems natural to help as much as you can, even with only a tip. So I decided to get involved. I contacted the girl and I said I will help with the mother’s sterilization, who unfortunately was diagnosed with Sticker tumor. The girl needed to wait as she had to have a hip operation first. -->
We scheduled the dog to dr. Fulger’s office, I talked with the girl to bring her dog up there, but half an hour before I was announced ….surprise I was announced that they will not come to the office as the guardian wants pups from the dog ....because they bark . ...... unbelievable .... as if she was the only one in the world.
-->
I spoke by phone with the keeper and tried to tell him that there is no need for her to have puppies ... there are so many in the world that need owners….if someone wants a dog, he has where to choose from (unfortunately). It was the first time I got hit directly by ignorance and by the human logic "why torment the dog". It is sad that we are so ill-informed and do not want to know more. But all in their time! I resigned because I had lost a battle, but my colleagues from ROBI urged me not to get discouraged and to move on. It would have been hard to start with a failure.
-->
So I turned to Mrs. Mariana Beck and a girl Elena who transported us to the warehouse. With the persuasion that I was missing, Mrs. Beck has managed to do so to take the dog from there without any problem.
-->
The next day she was returned sterilized and very happy that her four legged friends..... Further we both helped Mariana (the girl that reported the case) with the mother’s treatment and is now a very happy dog and we got a new ally in our daily struggle to find good owners for the street animals. We keep in touch with Mariana and help each other. It was a sign that we need to go further.
The girl - 11th of August 2009 (Andreea) Location: Sf Ioan hospital Arrived with a grandmother at the hospital, during the waiting time before admission, we see near a curb, on the grass three baby dogs sleeping on each other. I am getting closer to them when two of them start running away from fear; the third one had no reaction, he was lying motionless and breathing hard. Obviously we could not leave it there. We stepped in the car and went to the veterinary. Infusions for hydration, blood transfusion for anemia, spasms and flu shots, various vitamins and Canglob .... this is how the poor almost 2 months puppy’s treatment sounds like. Actually it was a pretty, beige, black eyed girl. She was suspected of Carre’s disease by symptoms, but without any test being done ... just low temperature: 34 degrees and runny nose. We went home with the little, but her condition was bad ... we returned to the vet and left her there for a treatment and infusions until evening. Amazingly, she stood up and walked a few steps, drank water and slept. The torment was just beginning ... at about 11 o’clock at night, the attacks started, she was straining very hard and cried, then she was falling asleep…..until 3 am the seizures repeated themselves every two minutes ... they weakened her and she didn’t even have the power to cry. I always kept her in my arms; my heart ached for her suffering and simply couldn’t do anything for her. In the morning I left for the office ... it was too late ...the little faded with nobody who can do anything ... I was left with a huge void...she left as easy as it appeared in my life ... but she left a deep sorrow, she was the first dog that I took care of, the first dog in the house, the first dog that I helped, the first failed experience, all my momentum died ... but I thought I had helped as much as humanly possible, I offered warmth and love when she most needed it, died with me and not there in the grass, alone and forgotten by the world .... Everything went very quickly ... I have not started to think of a name, but the girl will remain with me always, there in small garden of the building where I live. Kitten looking mice (Andreea - 13th of July 2009)
Sunny Monday morning, one going to work peacefully, the same route, same people, but new characters in sight. 13 - unlucky day for some but a huge fortune for others. Between two parked cars on a busy boulevard I see two creatures appear to be two young cat, but rather two fluffy oil gray skeletons, small as palm. It is late, but they need me more than my boss; I am trying to catch them but they are too scared. I take out a pretzel from my bag and put them on the sidewalk. Famished they appear under the car, I grab one, it spits me wrong, I stick in my bag; it is a little more difficult with the second one, I try to get it’s attention and when too fast for it to realize, I take it and stick it directly into the bag. I turn around, stop at the supermarket, I buy cat food and head home. I put them in a carton box, fed them quickly and went to work.
On my way back, I bought a bottle and kitten powder milk; they were as small as palm and I thought they need to eat with a bottle.
Surprise :) the too sharp teeth swallowed the teat tip :(, desperation and hunger have made them (in the meantime I realized there were girls) eat the milk and cat food themselves. Being very frightened, I could hardly touch them. Terribly weak, the kittens fought with life, with negligence and malice of those who have left them in the hands of fate....they eventually succeeded.
Socializing was difficult, both with us and with our other pets, but time solves it all as it did in this case. Bilutza (the male cat adopted a year before from the association) was the substitute of their mother, washing them, caring for them and slept together with them. They were ready for adoption, loved them already, even so distant, they were charming, they played and ran, they were our little mice.
Vienna, anyone? (15.06.2009) That call came on the forum animale.ro at the end of May 2009. Circumstances or destiny made me go in that period with work at a workshop. I was new on the forum, but when I read the topic title I knew, I felt that I will be the one who will bring Pepito to his new family in Austria. It was the first trip by plane for both me and Pepi, it was a mixture of excitement and joy that I can help even if I approached a totally unknown area….a plane trip with an animal. I documented together with Ramona, the person who saved the dog, about all documents and conditions of carriage, we put everything in place and we prepared for the flight of June 15. I waited at the airport for Pepito, he came all the way from Constanta. I cannot describe in words the emotion, pain and sadness that you could read in the eyes of Ramona. She raised him for five months and was not easy to separate from the one that already loved, protected and made her smile. She put in the carrier a pair of slippers that Pepi loved.
The first one who got on board was him, easily frightened and puzzled by why the being that saved him now leaves him here .... Ramona’s tears made us sad, she was crying both for joy and sadness, her little soul was leaving forever to a new life, a new family, a new world. The flight was smooth, once arrived in Vienna we retrieved the dog from the luggage and went to meet with those who expected him. We entrusted Pepi to the family with the belief that everything will be perfect, those people have shown us that you can make sacrifices to help a creature even at hundreds of kilometers away, for a dog that was not wanted by anyone in the country . Their smile says a lot!
News arrived quickly, Pepito settled with the family and the huge yard. A happy ending for a kissable soul!
The beginning for Andreea: A sunny day in October 2004 .... A seemingly ordinary day, but one with significance for ... ever. A little black kitten in a grown man’s arms, a life in a slender body, saved by fate, saved by a man with a big heart, saved by all of us, that we have given the chance of a life away from the dangers it was exposed in the street ...
The black huddle opened my eyes to their world, to those who do not speak, to the sincere love, to the joy of having something of mine, something moving .... it woke me up to reality, empowering me and taught me to love - to love life , to love animals, to love the difficulties, challenges and defeats. Everything went normal - first bath, first meal, first play, our furry son gave us a little of his life, afterwards giving even more. Muky grew both physically and in our hearts. Eventually it proved to be a little girl but, the name remained the same. He spent with us young students about 3 months, listening to music, receiving visits and being spoiled by us all.
We drove to the new family where he was expected by two more sisters, a new opportunity to play and a smooth path of destiny. We her wished a peaceful and trouble free life and Muky kissed us each in her own kitty way.
How it all began:
Out of love for animals. How else? We started volunteering in mid 2009, meeting us again, after six years at a weekly fair in Obor Park. It was meant to be! Shy at first, did not know where to start and what to do exactly. We tried our best to solve the cases that came on the working group and we quickly realized that in two, the power increases. We think the same, have common goals and one knows more about dogs, the other about cats. It couldn’t be better! This is how it all began!
